RYAN CONNORS
Drummer and Percussionist from New York City. As an independent musician, producer, arranger and composer in the city, Josh co-founded the New York/Nashville Connection with Ryan Connors in 2012. He has played on and produced/assistant produced over 20 recording sessions in NYC since 2013 including: full albums, artist singles and EP’s. Josh has a Masters degree from NYU (2012) in Jazz Instrumental Performance, and is currently administrative faculty for NYU Steinhardt (Music and Performing Arts Professions). He has made strong roots in New York playing professionally with notable artists/musicians in many musical settings such as Jazz, Pop, Funk, Soul, Latin, Hip-Hop and Rock.
Ryan is the band leader/producer for the nationally touring musical group Dynamo. Since the group’s formation in 2013, Dynamo has released two albums and earned two Nashville Industry Music Awards (NIMA’s). He is an active producer not only with Dynamo, but also with a wide variety of artists in the Nashville area. As a freelance pianist/arranger, Ryan serves as music director for several artists in Nashville including Melinda Doolittle. He earned his MM from Belmont University in Commercial Piano and his BM from West Chester University in classical percussion.
Joe Goehle is a multi-faceted musician in New York. He joined the New York/Nashville Connection in 2012 and has contributed to the project as an arranger, producer, and bassist. Comfortable in in many musical settings, Joe brings a wealth of experience to his playing/arranging that draws from backgrounds in classical, jazz, rock, pop, latin, and soul music. Along with his contributions to the New York-Nashville Connection, he currently leads a quintet of avante-garde improvisers and will release his first album, Cerebral People, in early 2016. Joe is a NYS certified music educator and currently teaches orchestral strings in Westchester County, NY.

Formed in 2014, NYC/Nashville Connection is a collaborative project in every sense of the word. The group is comprised of three consistent musicians/producers listed below. Based out of the two biggest music cities in America, the group reaches out to creative artists in both NYC and Nashville who are attempting to make their mark in the music industry. The collaboration process with each artist begins with an arrangment selected by the artist and ends with a fully produced, mixed and mastered music video that the artist can add to their portfolio.
